Overview
Tellit was selected and implemented as the automated content management solution for the Prometheus Knowledge Base. The Knowledge Base was delivered as a mobile-ready, fully responsive, web-based Software as a Service (SaaS) developed and operated by IN2, with server infrastructure located entirely within the European Union. The solution enabled the creation of dedicated content hubs that continuously aggregated and managed content from a wide range of sources, providing a scalable and compliant knowledge management environment.
The platform supported the aggregation of content from web sources (RSS feeds and blogs), major social media channels (including Twitter, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Flickr, and Vimeo), as well as direct file uploads. Uploaded content was automatically processed according to type—images, audio, video, and text—ensuring optimised formats, thumbnail generation, and streaming capabilities. Content was organised into flexible Projects, with configurable public, private, or semi-private visibility, and further structured as Collections for large thematic datasets or Stories for narrative-driven presentations. Projects could be visualised in multiple layouts and embedded in third-party websites, syndicated via RSS, or accessed through JSON feeds.
Tellit also provided advanced search, filtering, and analytics functionality. All content could be explored through full-text search and filtered by source, tags, and media type, while a comprehensive dashboard offered insights into content volume, sources, formats, and trends over time. Users were able to manage and monitor feeds and access graphical overviews of hub activity. Each user profile included metadata and an API key, enabling secure integration with third-party systems and reinforcing Tellit’s role as a central, intelligent knowledge base for Prometheus.
