MuVie International Conference - Accessibility and Inclusion in Music Education: Perspectives and Innovations

The MuVie International Conference will take place at Siena Jazz Academy on Sunday, July 26, 2026. The topic of the conference is accessibility and inclusion in music education - perspectives and innovations. The conference aims to foster a national and international dialogue on accessibility in music education, the inclusion of students with disabilities, and technologies for music accessibility in music schools and conservatories.
The program will feature an open-air closing concert with Stefano Tamborrino and the New Naif Orchestra, at 21:00 at the Piazza Provenzano.
Speakers of the conference include the members of the MuVie consortium: Giovanni Bertoni (Associazione Giuseppe Paccini), George Ioannidis (IN2 Digital Innovations), Helena Jakubowska (EKMS), Christiana Koutsoupidou and CHariklia Strouthou (St Barnabas School for the Blind).
The conference will be moderated by Anna Nicotra, PhD candidate and researcher of the MuVie project.
